7 Ideas for February Half Term
Not sure what to do with the kids this half term? We’ve got you covered! Here are some ideas for what you can do in Denbighshire
Discover the sealife that is homed at Rhyl SeaQuarium and make a day of going to the seaside. It has an open seafront location and sits on the beautiful North Wales coastline so (weather permitting) you can walk along the beach after your visit.
Visit the Prestatyn Nova Play Area and watch the kids tire themselves out before having a nice lunch at the seaside town. Nova’s indoor adventure play is themed to reflect the traditional Welsh seaside holiday which Prestatyn and the North Wales Riviera are famous for.
Cycle along the Llangollen Canal
Why not have a peaceful cycle along the World Hertiage Site of Llangollen Canal. With stunning views this route is perfect for getting away to de-stress and re- charge the batteries whether you are walking or cycling the route.
Have you got little thrill seekers? Why not get them outdoors and do some watersports or other thrilling activities. With Llangollen Outdoors you can do a whole variety of activities to please all interests….and have a great day out!
Why not trek to One Planet Adventure and either hire or take your Mountain Bikes onto the tracks in Llandegla Forest. With tracks to suit all ages and skill levels, One Planet Adventure is a great day out for the kids and adults alike.
Visit each of Denbighshire’s castles
We are lucky in Denbighshire to have an abundance of castles for you to visit….why not complete the castle travel list and get great photos of your half term break (post them on Instagram and use #discoverdenbighshire…we’d love to see your images!)
